This lamp probably a Victorian one? It has the original red glass at the rear and also a clear glass at front.

The lamp has Fiveway Lantern brand mark. And it has Phillips patent with patent number 110987.

It has lovely original patina consistent with the age.

I believe it is to carry a candle, so you can light the candle inside this lantern.

It is truly a British railway antique. It will be a perfect addition to a railwayana collector.

You can also modify or renovate this lamp as you wish. The lamp will be a delight for interior design.
