French Chocolate Paper Box
Here is a delicate French chocolate paper box. Look at the gorgeous scene printed/painted on the box. It is, I think, a baptism scene of a famous baby (with famous mother).
There is a word “Bernard” written on the top left of the box. I wonder if it is the painter name or the name of the baby in the scene?
As from googling, I think this is a chocolate box of the company called ‘A La Marquise de Sevigne’ from Toulouse.
I bought this from Camden Passage.
