The Cock Inn at Sarratt

Today we went to a lovely village pub called The Cock Inn.

The Cock Inn is located at the village of Sarratt in Rickmansworth.

It is a wonderful pub full of real ales. Today we saw four real ale pumps. All of their real ales are from Badger brewery from Dorset. My husband tried three real ales today. He said all of them were fantastic! His favorite was Badger Best Bitter.

We sat at the Cock Inn lovely old barn which transformed into a restaurant. It is believed to be from the 17th century.

The Cock Inn served vegan food. I tried their vegan selection: vegetable tempura as starter and vegetable panang curry and rice.

My husband tried their non-vegan food: classic beef burger and olives feta cheese. He enjoyed the beef so much, he said it was one of the delicious juicy beef he ever tasted in a burger!

We love the old ambiance at this pub. All the beams and the characters.

I have fallen in love with the surrounding views of the village. It is absolutely stunning countryside view. I would called it a pub with a view.

It is a lovely view from the pub, from the Holy Cross Church at the opposite of the pub. The Holy Cross church itself is beautiful.

It is a lovely village church in Sarratt. I saw many people walk in this village. I think Sarratt village is quite a popular route for walkers.

There is a stunning view of hills of the countryside. It is absolutely perfect for walking!

I would recommend this pub if you are happened to be in Rickmansworth / Chorleywood or Croxley / Watford area!
