This is a lovely vintage sapphire and diamonds yellow gold ring.
There are 8 diamonds with single cut each. According to the seller the total diamond carat is 0.1. Diamond clarity is in VS group and the diamond colour is in G-H range. Diameter of each diamond is 1.3 mm. The central sapphire has around 0.3 carat with 4.4 mm diameter.
The ring has a heavy weight of 4.2 grams.
There is a Birmingham hallmark on the ring. The full hallmark is read as: S&D, Crown, 18, an anchor, and a letter S.
S&D represents the marker mark which I am not sure who they are.
Crown and 18 represent the purity of the metal which is 18 carat gold.
Anchor is a town hallmark of Birmingham.
And a letter S represents year 1967.
I quite like the solid shank.
All in all, I quite like the lovely vintage condition and the natural gemstones present in this ring.
