Silver Pouncer Pot or Sander

Here is silver pouncer pot or sander. The pouncer pot function is to sprinkle powder which are useful for 1) making the paper smoother for ink writing and 2) drying the ink.

There is hallmark for Birmingham silver year 1905-1906 (with letter f). There is also a lovely inscription “To Father 1881-1906 From Grace”. It is a nice human touch history.
