This is an example of a stunning India silver teapot. It is from Lucknow, India.
It is made during the British Raj period circa 1920.
The details of the silver are very intricate.
The handle resembles a cobra snake.
And the spout resembles the elephant trunk.
There is an elephant on top too!
At the bottom of the body of the teapot, there are intricate flower petals design.
I believe this teapot had been used. Perhaps by an upper class Indian family to showing off their wealth. It could also been used by a British family who lives in India during the colonial times. Although no sign of makers name or any significance ownership of this teapot.
